‘Pop Up – Think Big, Shop Small’ Campaign - Nostalgia

The main idea behind this offline pop-up was to organize a campaign for game changers, where they can showcase their brand and create a buzz. We got in touch with the best small businesses run by women in the city of Kolkata, who wanted to interact in a networking environment and create a vanity for their brand. The bonus that came out for them was that they could turn their online business offline for an entire day. The Girl Up Alpha team worked around the clock and really got their hands dirty to get everything ready for the big day.

On the launch day, the team members made sure that their goals were achieved, and the whole event turned out to be a major success. They left no stone unturned in making the event a crowd-puller.

We decided that giveaways, freebies, etc will be our post-launch target and we plan to continue this through an entire period to generate a great amount of revenue for our game-changers.

Our biggest achievement as of now is that we got featured and recognized by Girl Up Campaign and that in itself is the key driving force for all of us here at Girl Up Alpha.

As rightly stated by Sheryl Sandberg, “We need women at all levels, including the top, to change the dynamic, reshape the conversation, to make sure women’s voices are heard and heeded, not overlooked and ignored.”

After all, that is what Girl Up is about and our club, Girl Up Alpha strives to achieve this purpose through putting forth opportunities for women and girls. This pop-up was quite an insightful journey for the entire team because we not only elevated womenpreneurs, our thoughts and ideologies have also gone up a notch.

Everything has become a blur and we are left with memories and recollections of successful stories, which we want to tell the entire world again and again. Every effort, time, work, idea, thought put into this is an achievement in itself. This pop-up has most definitely made us believe that every journey starts with a small step and ours has just started. We can’t wait to fish out more opportunities and participate to be creators of change.

If you hold the same ideals as us, then why don’t you join us?
